What happens if I run out of hours on my package?
You can either wait for the next month, update your monthly package, or add as many hours as you need.
What design service do I get with these packs?
We’ll make it easy for you to complete any design challenge within your hourly plan. If you run out of hours to complete the task, you can always top up or upgrade your plan.
Don’t worry, we’ll always quote the number of hours required for each task, so you know how much we’ll need to use from your plan. And we don’t charge for our coffee breaks.
How long will it take for my requests to be done?
We usually get your tasks sorted within 24 to 48 hours, depending on your requirements. If you have urgency, we can always add more designers to help and make things faster.
Will I pay more for an urgent task?
As mentioned above, if you are in a hurry to get something done, we will add as many professionals as needed to your hours. With this in mind, if 2 designers are working to your advantage in the same hour, 2 hours will be deducted from your subscription plan.
How good is the Play Dept team?

What’s the difference between agencies, freelancers and Play Dept?
We position ourselves in the middle between expensive and time-consuming agencies and cheaper but confusing and inconsistent freelancers. With a regular relationship with our clients, we’re able to get things done faster and always on brand.
Our designers have previously worked in large agencies and large corporate companies, always giving us the necessary expertise to make our work efficient.
Are Play Dept plans more expensive than some freelancers or freelance platforms?
Although our plans may seem a little more expensive than some freelancers you might find online or on some other platforms, Play Dept is actually quite cheap for the consistent quality and the fast turnaround than any other option you might find.
With our creative director on hand to fine-tune everything, you can be sure we’re doing nothing less than a great job.
Why not hire in-house employees or opt for traditional outsourcing?
Think about the fast-paced world of digital marketing. Now think about hiring designers, training them for years, keeping them motivated, making sure they’re doing quality work and managing all their requests to keep them interested… what an undertaking. Outsourcing to traditional agencies with endless meetings, charged by the hour, big feedback sessions and long turnaround times, doesn’t seem so great either.
